Blackfriars F.C is a specialized football development programme, which has been developed by UEFA qualified professional coaches together with a Head Teacher of many decades of teaching experience who strongly believe the fundamentals to becoming a successful & competent player is by possessing confidence, a strong work ethic, resilience, and self-belief.
We encourage these traits within our programme using player management in our game’s fixtures and our training sessions. We believe the key ingredients for producing innovative and adaptable players focusing on players first touch, ball mastery, 1v1s & small-sided games.

Blackfriars F.C will play in the Timperley & District League for the 2024/2025 season. We train on Saturday mornings at Abbotsford Prep in Urmston, Our home ground is TBC.
The development centre on Saturdays operate from 10:30 am to 11.30 am, where we work with many age groups to prepare and equip them for next season.
We have a partnership with Futsal Elite which offers an array of opportunities to experience Futsal and we encourage our players to attend one Futsal session a week within our training programme to support the 10,000 hours rule as well as many other benefits the sport brings.
